I suggest doing a "Ship Search" at the ConvoyWeb website, http://convoyweb.org.uk/hague/index.html. I found 22 to 27 entries each for THOMAS SUMTER, PAUL HAMILTON HAYNE and JOSEPH T. ROBINSON. THOMAS SUMTER, for example, was in convoys between New York and Liverpool in February and March 1943, and in convoys between Hampton Roads, Virginia (i.e., Norfolk) and the Mediterranean in June and July 1943. These records will indicate what convoys each ship was in, the departure and arrival ports, inclusive dates, sometimes an indication of the cargo the ship carried, and any unusual events experienced by the ship or the convoy. It will have nothing about the crew. I did not find anything about CHANCELLORSVILLE at ConvoyWeb.
A similar website, not as comprehensive as ConvoyWeb but sometimes having interesting detail, is http://warsailors.com/search.html.
Good luck.
