ARegarding to his ancestors he became a seaman and from 1942 he was on several steamer ships:
- 1942 at the SS W. R. GIBSON
- April 1944 1st mate at SS ANDREW D. WHITE
- November 1945 at SS HERBERT A. DAGUE
- April 1946 Master at SS GEORGE VANCOUVER
- January 1947 First Mate at SS SAMUEL COLT
- November 1951 2nd mate at SS OWEN WISTER
Later he was 2nd mate at HAROLD D. WHITEHEAD and 3rd mate at JULIA LUCKENBACH
MJy question is, does any one have some informations regarding Wilhelm or are there any photographs available? I would be very glad about any information. Wilhelm died in 1966 and I do not know anything more about him and his wife Elsie. Both are buried in Michigan where Elsie was born.
Thank you for your help
