Hi:

My father attended Anti-Aircraft Training Center, Pacific Beach, CA. 5 Nov. 1943 while assigned to the small craft Pre-Comissioning Training Center in San Diego. 13 Nov they sent him to Fire Fighters School U.S.Naval Repair Base, San Diego. It appears it was part of series of schools for Boot Camp grads going to the fleet. Right after PC training he was assigned a new 375' towed concrete fuel oil barge with 20 mm AA gun(s). There wasn't any info in his service record about AA school other than he attended.
