Ron, I was assigned to the US Uraguay and was on my way to the Phillipines when I got sick and was let off at Panama City, about 2 weeks later i was assinged to the Donald Bain which was on its way to the Phillipines, We arrived just as the war with Japan was over. If possible I would like to find a list ot the Armed Guard assinged to that ship and try to make contact with them Thanks Gerald burr
