Tony and Ron, Thank you both very much for all the assistance and information you both have provided me. I have been able to figure out some of what my father did during the war. I have gotten some records from NPRC. Ron The records I have show him being transfered to the AG Pool at Trinidad am I correct in thinking that this was a Naval Armed Guard Pool for members between ships? There are also several references to (15ND) 3Nd and (5ND)any ideas.
Tony, the Convoyweb is great, I was able to find quite abit about his Convoys while serving on the SS DEAWARE SUN and the SS SYSONBY but I can find nothing on either the
SS OLIVER WENDELL HOLMES from Nov 1943 until March 1944
SS PACIFIC SUN March 1944 until May 1944
These are the dates I show him serving on these two ships. any Ideas of any other place I can look?
