forgot to mention that my Dad was called "DOC" but his name was Harold John Muendel and at that time he lived in Dougleston NJ and disembarked out of Brooklyn.

Hopefully many of you still kicking will remember him on board.

I was born in 1942 when was at sea aboard the McAndrew.
