Two-blocked n. To raise a flag to its maximum height. A national ensign should pass through the two-blocked position when raised to, and lowered from, a half-masted position.
I found that on the web site of the U.S. Power Boat Assn., under Rules for Displaying the flag. Another thing I remember is that when a flag or pennant or hoist was displayed at the top of a signal halyard it was said to be "at the truck." But I can't remember what I had for breakfast. Sound familiar?
