The SS Bozeman Liberty was damaged near Okinawa on April 28, 1945. From what I can find, she was damaged by either depth charge, Kaiten (suicide torpedo), or Midget Submarine. No deaths reported. (info from http://www.usmm.org/sunkaz.html)
The depth charge seems less likely of the three possible choices, but the other two very possible.
That's all the info I can find on this ship.
