I am looking for my biological father who I understand was a US naval officer stationed in the Penryn area in 1944. I do not know his name.There were many US troops in the area leading up to D-Day but this was a bit later. I was born in September 1945 to Mrs Queenie Eustace of the Kings Arms Hotel, Penryn. She was married with one child at the time. An elderly aunt told me that she thought he was called Joey and he provided food for her wedding in August 1944.Can anyone help me find out which units were stationed there? Any help would be appreciated.
