Ater a couple months of research, I finally found the Captain of the HSM Pink Sir Robert Atkinson.My dad (Fred Greeno) had wondered for years(65)what ever happend to him. After tremendous help from (now my English friends) especially William Russell who is active in the UBoat site, I was able to contact Sir Robert who now resides in Itchen Abbas England along with his wife Hazel at the young age of 93. Needless to say my dad was beyond belief and truly believes he would not be here if it were not for the bravery of Sir Robert and his crew when they were rescued from the cold and icy waters of the Atlantic They have since spoken by phone and we are in constant contact.
