TYFA has no control over an organizations stucture or how it is run, that is up to the organization. JJR wasn't removed by TYFA, they elected to remove themselves. They were caught having try-outs and selective recruiting. Instead of accepting a penalty of no post season play. the left and went to NAJIFF. The next year they came back to TYFA and accepted the punishment. SO, get your facts straight.
Damn shame of this is, most stupid comments on here are from people that have never even spoke to the man. IF you really evaluate his comments he is absolutely correct, just not the timing for a statement like that in the social atmosphere of today. Additionally, his comment about environment was dead on and it hurt, Proof is in a thread below, where people are saying directly that the outlaws coaching styles, language by the coaches, and behavior of adults is not in the best interest of their child. Then a parent response is "take mijo somewhere else". That's sounds like a racist comment to me.
This is supposed to be a good for children. A sport to develop young boys who love the game and an opportunity to teach valuable life lessons at the same time. You adults with your attitudes, self righteous behaviors, living vicariously through your sons is the problem. Fact is, you believe Junior will get a full ride somewhere when you should be starting a 529 plan for college.
TYFA did what it did as a business decision. Personally,I think they hung him out to dry. As far as is team, who are you to sit in judgment of this man. Let his parents base their decision on what his actions were with them and their children.
