Hi:

Some photos indicate that whereas the bow of the Bismarck was like a clipper bow, that of the Tirpitz was much sharper...more like that of the Hipper & Lutzow after their mods. The problem is that some photos of her show this, while others depict her with the same bow as her sister. The recent 2 volume work on KM camo actually shows the Tirpitz with both bow types at different points in her career... perhaps indicting a post completion but prior to Norwegian assignment refit ...but this is speculation on my part... and yes their artists were more concerned with details of the camo...
