Sad to read. It’s one of those things that’s just always been there. Here is a picture attributed to Revell that I copied out of an old book on injection molding I found one day at the Clemson University library. Wish I could provide a better attribution. Previous Message
was looking at Hobbylink Japan for Revell in the ship section under discontinued kits.
After 73 years of production the 1/535 scale USS Missouri Kithas been discontinued this year.
This kit is still around under the Atlantis label as either the Wisconsin or Iowa after they bought the Revell molds a few years back.
I wonder what the men who made it's mold back in the early 50's would think when learning this.
Built a number of them over the decades. So an Icon has passed.
