I realize that the nuclear carriers are going to be named after politicans and that's how it is. But for the fun of it...using the navy earlier naming system this is what could be named. Starting with the hull number CVN-78
CVN-78 Langley
CVN-79 Forrestal
CVN-80 Enterprise
CVN-81 Shangri-La
CVN-82 Ranger
CVN-83 Wolverine
CVN-84 Thetis Bay
CVN-85 United States
CVN-86 Casablanaca
CVN-87 Midway
CVN-88 Antietam
So I'm asking if you could rename the Ford class what names would you use?

Cool. Thank you. So, now there's some preliminary money being spent. Much appreciated. Previous Message
actually both USS William J. Clinton (CVN 82) and USS George W. Bush (CVN 83) were announced back in Jan 2025 by then Navy Secretary Del Toro and President Biden. The FY26 authorization bill included both ships.
