If you can find it, Tamiya paint remover will remove Tamiya lacquers and other paints without damaging the underlying plastic/resin. The only issue isi do not think it can be found in the USA. I had to get mine from Canada.

Is there a way to remove Tamiya primer from photo etch? I got a little heavy priming some railings and things got a little gloppy. I've tried Tamiya airbrush cleaner and 90% rubbing alcohol to no effect.
