Depends. I specifically use the AK Interactive (not Play) aluminum and dark aluminum for the corrogard leading edges of Cold War era USN jest and the DSPAIE red for the edges of pinch/crush points like USN LG doors and such. A few other colors come in handy for ordnance markings.

I find most colors to be a bit off like the AK Signal Red is actually orange and most art store markers the reds are more pink. Most ODs and browns are too light, etc. But YMMV.
