I have not actually tried pulling drawings at US NARA for these specific destroyers. But, right now based on the majority of ship drawings are BGP’s which are normally generic and may not be detail accurate. Also, MOST (but not all) drawings are of the LAST configuration of the ship. With the GEARING class units, most were upgraded to a FRAM configuration. This erases DDE configurations. I do however have quite a few scanned photos of 1950’s US destroyers, which maybe of use.

Another question, when in their career do you wish to model? The DDE’s went through several changes.

However, except for the two CARPENTER class units, which had extensive unique configuration, the other two DDE units you mention were mostly the same configuration of standard Fleet Destroyer GEARINGS.
