Also near the Pampanito used to be the S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien (I think it's still there). Definitely worth seeing.

Are there any worthwhile hobby shops in the greater San Francisco Bay area?
And is it possible to visit the old Mare Island Naval Base, or is that closed? Beside USS Hornet, are there any other worthwhile naval-related sites to see?
