Submarine Pampanito in its WWII state is at Fisherman's Wharf. USS Hornet is at the former Alameda Naval Air Station. The SF Maritime Museum used ro have a superb, big builder's model of battleship California p,as built, but the pacifists of SF got rid of it. Franciscan Hobbies was the best hobby shop in SF for half a century, but it is gone. Go downtown to the glossy bars and hang out with 20 yr old Google employees.
