exactly the same as the old Entex and pre 1999 Minicraft kit. Academy now owns the Minicraft Titanic moulds. Given they have newer tooled 1:400 versions, releasing the 1/350 version seems somewhat unlikely. I'm just glad I've got so many in my stash

I wonder if that Revell kit is a new tool OR the OLD 1:400 scale kit that is pretty crappy.. if its the OLD kit, then the Academy 1:400 beats it by a country mile and then some all the extras could NOT help that pig..great for a kid though..cheers Previous Message
No problem at all; just thought I'd clarify it for Jay. It still looks like an impressive kit for someone looking for a decent sized model.

The 1:350?? the old Minicraft kit?? if this is true, wow. minicraft was bought out by Academy a few years back, molds, intellectual property, the works and I heard it was not going to be re issued..maybe Revell bought those old molds..thanks for the info, Jay Previous Message

planes on reissuing it in October with an upgrade kit wood deck metal fittings photo etch supposed to be quiet an upgrade
