I've built a few 3D printed models and used 3D printed parts regularly.
I use Tamiya #123 sharp pointed cutters. It gets into small areas and has the appropriate reach. For me it works like a charm.

Say a battleship model. Curious as I am finding it tedious and quite difficult with some parts.
