I've built nine of these kits and am working on a tenth (the SMS Derfflinger, 1917), all full-hull in 1/350. The orange resin Gaga kits are the easiest, and have one or two-piece hulls. The dark blue-gray resin kits (all SSModel, I assume) have up to six hull sections and are cast in a more brittle resin, so cutting them out of their casting cages is tedious and takes about two hours, depending on the complexity of the parts. Fine clippers are essential and a steady hand is very important. I have found that warpage often occurs with masts and yardarms, but delicate manipulation after a quick run through a candle flame softens the resin and allows for straitening. The most difficult parts extractions I've found are when there is uncertainty as to whether the narrow "twigs" that hold the part you want may actually be struts that should stay attached (usually to superstructure sections such as bridge and mast platforms). Keep a few of those disposable twigs handy, in various diameters, as they can be cut to the right length to replace parts you may have accidentally removed.
