I have this kit and measured it out as overall length. I added the half inch length of the stern Flagstaff and the length comes to 9.5 inches long.
The hull is 9 inches long. So 78ft X 12= 936 inches
divided by 9.5 inches equals 98.5 or 1/98. After the fall of hobbyco Revell sold to Atlantis alot of kits this is one of them reissued 2023 by Atlantis.

I know it is not PT-212 but a later model of their 78ft. boats. I am detailing the model and would like to improve the 50cal. So, what scale is this model supposed to be?
