There was very little interoperability or cooperation between the IJN and the IJA. I imagine that includes the army ships and crew. Guessing they had army uniforms and such.

When the IJA had its own carrier and submarines, did the crew wear army uniforms or had naval style uniforms? Did they have army ranks or naval style ranks.
