
Less well known, but also meriting attention is "Jutland: The Unfinished Battle" by Jellicoe's grandson Nicholas. Considering the shabby way Lord Jellicoe was treated by the British press, politicians, and Beatty sycophants like Filson Young, Nicholas is remarkably even-handed in framing his narrative. It's worthy of attention.

Reading again Massie’s Castle of Steel - in my opinion the most entertaining book on naval warfare ever - and wondering how it comes that we still don’t have a Lion and an Iron Duke in 1/350 in plastic. On the other side at least we have the excellent Seydlitz from Hobby Boss and the ICM Konig. Jellicoe and Beatty would be truly disappointed…
