At any rate, I love it. The version with two big stacks may be sleeker, but I have always felt the seven stacks gave it much more character.
Some day, I shall build one of my IHP Lexingtons in that appearance.

Neither link opened for me. First one said, "403 Invalid signature." Second one said, "Site can't be reached."
I managed to get a copy of the link off the first one, edited it to this:

And this opens for me.
That's quite a ship. I don't think it has enough funnels.

This is my build of USS Constellation done from the 1916 Spring Styles drawing. these "scouts" were armed with 10 14" guns and designed for 35 knots. A lot was sacrificed to get this desired high speed, armor of only 5", a long narrow hull which required the triple turrets be placed at the wider parts of the hull, and so many boilers that some of them are on the Main Deck.
I made the hull from an old Fujimi USS Lexington kit. I still had to cut away most of the hull.
The rest of the model is scratch built or parts I drew out & printed. I used the USS New Mexico style bridge and mast details, those ships being from about the same time frame.
I hope you can see the photo, if not here's a flicker link: USS Constellation
