The parabolic antenna belongs to an Orion X band radar produced by Selenia. The radar is part of the Argo NA 9 director system by ELSAG. This system was used by the Italian navy on many ships built in the 1960s and 1970s to guide the 76 mm guns - and apparently two such systems were sold to South Africa for the converted W class destroyers.
