There was a built up bridge added. It looked to be some sort of enclosed structure.
Ramillies also had a catapult & crane in the 30's. The catapult was removed pre war but the crane remained.
I haven't come across enough information to be definitive about the bridge, I too would like to do a proper mod to my old Frog R class model.
