It would have been nice if they released an early war version and the late warning version that they have now. That way you would at least have a good preference on what to buy.

Both have landed on eBay at reasonable prices. Dated as 1944 versions with 5" single mounts and different superstructure details. Based of course on the Helena kit sharing many sprues so you get 5" twin mounts also. So far the ads do not include photos of sprues or instructions but nice pics of finished kits. Both versions in basic and detailed options are listed. May be possible to combine a Helena with one of these to do a late war version with the twin 5" mounts.
