overall length 612.25 ft long so to get it's scale
I times the length by 12 and got 7347 inches dividing by the model length 17 inches I got 1/429
scale. But the box art said 1/426 scale so I calculated by adding 1/4 of a inch to the model length and converted to a desabull (.25) So here
we have 612.25 times 12 equals 7347 inches divided
model length 17.25 inches equals 1/425.9 . The mystery is "What is the Revell Arizona model kit length " inquiring minds would like to know. Because I don't know the length that Revell used waterline length or overall length for this kit.
any one know?

Possibly last year Revell discontinued one of it's
longest produced kits. The 1/426 USS Arizona BB-39.
It was first released in 1957.The kit was used in helping with raising money for the Arizona memorial, later for raising funds to help
the kids of dead crewmwmbers to go to college.I had a kit when I was a kid that had a form in the instruction sheet for donations for this.
When the Arizona was launched in the 1910's at the Brookyln Navy Yard, the daughter of the Govenor of the state of Arizona christened it. Because of this
(Forgot her name)she developed an interest in the ship. When the plans were announced for the Arizona
Memorial in Hawaii She assisted in it and as a reward for this she received a completed kit in special display box which she kept until her death.
In the 21st century her family supposedly sold it
to model collector company. It is what is . Pretty sure that I built this kit a few times.
