I don't know is why I'm asking, and it goes for other regional powers as well.
I don't think the British taxpayer is interested, recent survey's have highlighted that a fair percentage of Britain's citizens don't really care much about 'Rule Britannia' in any shape or form anymore. In fact they're pulling down all their statues or splashing those they can't with red paint. Even at the political level Britain seems to be ashamed of its past and if that is so all else will flow from it. Look at the Chagos, there was not the slightest reason to hand it over to someone with no claim to it whatsoever except to atone publicly for apparent past 'colonial' guilt.
If Argentina wishes to finally claim the Malvinas as part of its territory, with at least another three years of the current British Gov to run now would be a good time to quarantine the archipelago, and what could Britain possibly do about it? And it's not just a military matter, would the present British population be bothered with another Falklands campaign?
I just think no matter how bad it is Britain has the current navy that it both wants and deserves, and it's certainly not alone. Australia which is completely beholden to sea trade for its existence has no navy that matters for more than a week, and New Zealand sinks its own very rare ships through its own gross incompetence of enlisting foreign non-binary officers for virtue signalling street cred, and combined, that's what is standing the wall in the South and South West Pacific and Eastern Indian oceans. China recently pointed that out by sending a flotilla to cruise between the two and unilaterally conducting live firing exercises which cause civil aviation traffic to be diverted, and when finished circumnavigated Australia (unshadowed or escorted, they are friends!) on its way home.
You think the RN and Britain has problems? At least it has the Euro Navy to come to its rescue and to watch over it if it perhaps has another fish war with Iceland.

If even half of this is true, shocking indeed.
And if you disagree, turning off the sound will leave you with a pleasing video.
