You invoked me into the conversation. I expressed myself. Now you're upset. See why Dean is so wise?

Dean advised we not address each other. I am seeing the wisdom of that advice.

War is unpleasant, and not desireable. War has happened nonetheless. No negative reactions are unwarranted.
That I can be ambivalent over this administration (as I have been to nearly every other administration of either stripe) has made me "the enemy" of all those who hate this administration. "If I am not 100% with them then I must be ag'in' them." I have indicated here repeatedly that I actually loath both sides.
I have always been more interested in trying to learn about situations and understand them. I study issues from both sides, and I find nearly everything is often not as simple as either side has tried to reduce it to. Politics is about pre-packaged simplified nonsense for the easy consumption of the largely uninformed. It is designed to provide those with no time or inclination to understand issues a ready-made "understanding" which makes the presenting side appear like sensible folks and the other side like lunatics. And it works! All those folks who run around enthusiastically spouting either side's nonsense look like lunatics.

..and having an unwarranted negative reaction to our wonderful administration.

If China doesn’t take full advantage of this mess, they aren’t half as smart as I think they are. 1) Get Iran to stop shooting. 2) Get the GCC to expel all western forces and take over those bases. 3) Install air defenses to keep Israel out of Iran. 4) Buy all the oil they need. Zheng He 2.0. And the US will have just handed it to them!

Normal minehunters cannot operate now in the Strait of Hormuz - the US Navy is still not able to escort ships through the strait. Likely, no USN ships operate so close to Iran.
The decision to ship the minehunters back was made by the same administration, which now asks other countries for help to clean up the mess, which it caused there.
