These images show USS San Francisco enroute from Los Angeles, CA to Pearl Harbor. She would leave Los Angeles along with USS Maryland, USS Tennessee, USS Portland, USS Medusa, USS Dorsey, and USS Elliot on August 17, 1941.
They would arrive at Pearl on Aug. 24th.











She would enter PHNY on 10/10/41 for an overhaul and would still be there when the Japanese attacked on 12/7/41.
