A true designer-modeler will think "modeling", that is ease of cutting supports, painting separate parts and assembling with the modeler's job in mind.
A large majority of Chinese printing designs are either simple transposition of World of Warship designs which are all but NOT aimed at modeling, or original designs done with the 3D-designer mind, which is NOT the modeler's too.
Designing an integrated superstructure with all levels in a single part is an impressive 3D challenge, but a modeler nightmare. Printing separate levels to be assembled will only add a few cents to the resin cost, will result in ease in assembling and MORE FUN for the modeler.
American and European designs are more in the modeler's mind and easier to cope with... Maybe because they're done by true modelers.
So the real parameter is "THINK modeling"
