Oh, boy. Thank you sir. Although, for USN torpedo blisters, I really just relied on the reference material.

So, yes to tumblehome on MD's flanks. The cross-section plan limits the tumblehome to the upper 25% of the blister, more or less. As you surmise, I used a file, and then a sanding block.

Technically, the flat top of the blister has a slight decline, but it's 1/700 scale. Not worth addressing it at all, IMHO.
