The Norwegian minesweeper KNM Alta (M314) was one of ten ships of the Sauda class - a variant of the US Adjutant class, of which more than 200 were built between the 1950s and the 1970s.

Alta was originally built for the Belgian navy and served in the Norwegian navy from 1966-1996. Today, she is preserved and able to sail.
