The ships (plus the US vessel) happened to be on a major exercise at the time of filming.

Watched the DVD last night. Did not remember the film being in color. Good footage of post war cruisers including the actual HMNZS Achillies but with a revised armament.
Interesting how the RN got the Indian navy to operate their ships together.
