Here some photos of the Japanese frigates (DE) Tone and Abukuma in Kure - photographed from some distance.
Tone and Abukuma 2024 in Kure
These are old ships, built between 1988 and 1993, and will be soon replaced by the Mogami class (and maybe transferred to the Philippines).
There are 1/700 kits by Hasegawa of the class containing parts for two models.
