
The trouble with us in Texas is the yahoos in them lifted pickum up trucks. They think they are invincible and can go anywhere at their normal too fast speed. It just allows them to get into trouble at a higher speed. We don’t have good snow removal equipment. Have brine trucks that they treat the roads with to melt the snow. Trouble is that often a winter event starts with rain, washing off the brine. Save the brine for the brisket.
Schools were cancelled for Monday before the first flake fell.
Me, I’ve managed to spend the past couple of days in the hospital because my liver wasn’t liverin’. Gall stone blocking the bile duct. A ‘reverse colonoscopy’ ie top to bottom has sorted the problem.
And people up north would say things about the heat. I reply that I have yet to have th shovel 18 inches of 98 degrees off my driveway.
