Having had a closer look I'm inclined to agree with you that is room for an aftermarket etch set. In addition to the catapult I'm wondering whether the Trumpy photoetch will be too flimsy as it has in the past. I'm particularly wondering about the crane. Also the inclined ladders might fall apart.

I wonder if any of the aftermarket folks will do a set as Trumpeter has supplied most of what is needed.

I'm campaigning for one - while Trumpeter did not "forget a deck" as they have in the past, there are a couple of levels when there should be two-bar railing that is not provided, and there are other aspects that a good company could provide that Trumpeter does not.
