The Chinese definitely have the capability. But ability doesn’t guarantee success. If opposed any invasion would fail. The

Yes, in winter, the convoys in WW2 had to use more Southern routes - demonstrating that no icebreaking capabilities were available for the Royal Navy.
I also doubt that China has the capabilities to invade Greenland.
But they have the political will to invest in
development aid, which helps them to secure influence in poor countries. The cutting of development aid hast the opposite effect.
