My point us that warships can be modified to operate in and around polar waters.
But also, Greenland is not entirely surrounded by ice. A US invasion of the main centres would not require icebreakers. Operations in and around Alaska will have provided adequate experience.
How long these Danish vessels would survive US air power is another matter.

The question were not icebreakers, but warships designed to operate there.
How many such warships had the RN in WW2? They did not had to operate in WW2 around Greenland. The US built the Wind class, which could and did operate there.
