As I understand it your considering buying the Shamrock Bay kit by Hasegawa . If this happens
it's your project and you could modify this kit
as you see realistic for it.

I've no doubt that it was there, just that it tended to be smaller. Gambier Bay's wasn't as large as Hasegawa put it on the model. Shamrock Bay's certainly wasn't. There were the blueprints, and then there was what actually wound up on the actual ships.
