Having never owned the Gambier Bay kit I didn't know that and was quoting Hobbylink Japan's kit
descrbition on the new Shamrock Bay kit.

The Gambier Bay came with full size pattern shapes on the instruction sheet.

I looked at Hobbylink Japan and it looks like a reissue of the Gambier Bay but will come with new decals and painting masks for the camo job. It's release date is listed as March,2026. Previous Message

It looks like Hasegawa is releasing a 1/350th Shamrock Bay. Its up at Squadron as a future release. Any intel? Is there anything new about this model? I'm guessing its a repop of their earlier Gambier Bay with no new parts, but I thought I'd ask if anyone knew differently.
Shamrock Bay is an odd choice. She didn't see much actual combat. Any of the other Taffy 3 CVEs would likely resonate deeper with those, "in the know." Guadalcanal would also be a great choice given her U-boat capture.
