Hi, Moe -
40+ years since that magazine came out! I enjoyed kit-bashing the old Otaki 1/350 WW2 Missouri into a 1980's New Jersey for the Revell company back then. Tamiya's 1/350 New Jersey was introduced at the same time. Both kits had strong points and weak points. Only the Revell version made an effort at representing the elevated helicopter deck (they didn't precisely copy what I gave them) so Tamiya lost points with me because of that.
I really wanted to include some of my brand new 1/350 scale photo-etched rails and nets but the Revell people wanted a demonstrator that showed only what would come in the box - all plastic parts only.)

seeing the sub-title "USN Newest Frigate - OHP"..... I have been on THREE (3) of those vessels.... ALL Gone!!!
Except the WADSWORTH FFG-10 --> Polish Navy, as far as I know...

I recently bought this magazine to check out the USS Oklahoma model and noticed your name all over this magazine.
It’s an amazing model considering it was built in the early 1980’s.
