The really frustrating thing is that I cannot get a 'Model Railroad News' mag where I live in the UK. Subscription postage makes it prohibitively expensive.

The fires in Talent Oregon occurred in 2020. It’s been a long recovery, but have there been actual statements by anyone in the company that this was a primary factor bin its sale?

This had more to do with the fires in their area that did a lot of harm to their facility and some of their own homes.
They had almost no dependency on anything from China. Almost completely domestic and most business was in the US/Canada.
Of course, the (in my opinion) idiotic tariff crap was the final straw as it has disrupted business in general.

There was conversation (noisy conversation) here a few months ago about the model railroad industry and the effects of reckless and incoherent tariff policy
on it.
I come across news this week that Micro-Trains line, one of the few all-domestic vendors of that hobby, has been purchased by Atlas trains.
Micro-Trains was well-deserving of their trademark slogan 'The Cadillac of N-scale models.' I was wondering if anyone here had any thoughts or comment on the news.
