I was never aware Ark Royal had her own movie or there was so much good footage anywhere of Fulmar's, Skua's and Swordfish in operation. All these images are great references for modeler's of Ark and her airwing just before her loss. Note Skua pilots sat in an elevated position on launch (and trap?) to improve vision much like Japanese naval pilots.

And there are many scenes below decks showing structures and equipment, particularly the hangar deck and elevators, and at 1:14 a fascinating scene showing an armament storage room with sixty 18" Mk XII (?) torpedo's neatly arrayed in racks stacked four high. I had always wondered how they stored these dangerous things.

I enjoyed the models although the F/X left a lot to be desired, but the faux Greek Islands did have a charm of their own set in their milky lapping Med.
