Yeah, the '80's comment came out a little wrong. I meant that he didn't have all the "aftermarket" luxuries we all have at our disposal these days.

Built in the 1980’s? Those weren’t ancient times. Magnificent models have been built by model makers for centuries. For example, check out the models made by Norman Ough made during the 1920s to the 1950s.

I recently bought this magazine to check out the USS Oklahoma model and noticed your name all over this magazine.
It’s an amazing model considering it was built in the early 1980’s.
