I got no prob with that. I ordered the Trumpy HMS Naiad from a Chinese Ebay seller and had no issues whatsoever. Great service, cheap shipping and it got here in well under 3 weeks. Very happy. If Vee Hobby wants to market their kits in their way, all power to them.

Thanks for the replies.Went to AAA yeteresday which is connected to Stevens International and I learned after asking a cashier that Vee Hobby is going forward with no foreign distributors for their products, you will use direct mail order from them to get their products.Time will tell.

I haven't seen a kit of the Helena but perhaps in 2 months from now the 2026 catalogue of Vee Hobby will come out and more information will be available. Previous Message
Has anyone "seen" an actual kit of her yet (or the other 2 Brooklyn sisters also announced)? Box art has been posted on Scalemates and also here in an earlier posting. Still missing 1/700 plastic kits of the Salt Lake City and Northampton ships to round out the surface cruisers that were in the thick of the engagements in '42 and '43.
