use white glue to glue the pe in place then use dabs of super glue along the outer & inner edges of the pe. before doing that, carefully light sand the plastic deck & the bottom side of the pe to give the glues more surface to attach to instead of glossy surfaces.

Being a novice when applying it. I used a fast-setting glue and trying to get everything lined up was a hassle and ended up mangling he brass deck trying to remove it to try again. Just want different opinions and suggestions for this go around. Previous Message
did you lightly sand both surfaces that are to be glued together before gluing? Previous Message
I will be using the White Ensign Models Kirishima brass deck from their 1/350 Kongo set. I tried gluing a brass replacement deck to another kit a few years ago super glue. It didn't turn out well. Would anyone have a recommendation on another type of glue/adhesive to use? Any advice will be welcomed.
